On the day of Vaishakh Vad 14th, Bapashri showing his favour, talked. He said, “Ratnabhakta of this village was the brother of younger Rambai. The people of the village had much grudge against him. So his farm and house were taken away and used to throw dust and fined. The head of the village was also involved with them. Once Ratnabhakta went to Gadhada for the darshan of Shriji Maharaj. Shriji Maharaj was injured by his toe-nail. Shriji Maharaj told him not to worry. The brother of Rambai is also His brother. Once he removed the glass from the frame of Shriji Maharaj’s Murti and applied sandalwood paste as a result the Murti was covered. I asked him what had he done? He replied that since there was hot wind and Maharaj was feeling very hot so he applied it. Such was his nature indifferent to this world. Then Bapashri put his hand on Becharbhai’s head and told him that he seemed to be suffering from cold. Then he said he was feeling giddy. Swami Ishwarcharandasji said he was also feeling giddy but in a ship or in a steamer he does not feel giddy. Bapashri said, “Your body is heavy in the upper part and lower part is thin. So you cannot keep the balance. It is like humorous jest. Then Bapashri asked Becharbhai if he remember him. Then he said, “Bapa, I want Murti.” Bapashri said, “If you need it, you will get it but after ascertaining its value if you run away it is of no use. Mumukshu are made to run away by saffron clothes that means sadhus instigate them against us. Just as the king mourns when his son dies. Similarly, if one is separated from Maharaj’s Murti, how much grief should one have? That thing is illusive (mayik) but Maharaj’s Murti is divine. If we are separated from it, there will be great loss. Life is very short. When the death is very near and if he gets attached to Muktas during that time, he will get ultimate liberation. Muktas are above three states. Who can know them? Only the needy will know them. When one is engrossed in Murti and if anything goes wrong with the body one would not care because he is in such satsang. He should always remain in such state. Whether there is happiness or unhappiness, we should not blame any one. It is the time ‘Kaliyug‘ but we have to establish Satyug. Today siddhis (super natural power) have become satsang. As a result, people are attracted towards those who have such siddhis. || 227 ||
