In the morning of Fagana Vad 13th, Bapasri, after completing daily routine, quoted devotional song of Niskulanand Swami, ‘Mai hun adi anadi ato sarve upadhi, kon kul ne kon kutumbi kon mat ne kon tat kon bhrat ne kon bhagini brahma hamari jat’ (I am without beginning and all these are adjuncts; I have no family, no lineage; I have no mother, no father, no brother nor any sister; I am brahma).’ Then Bapasri told Swami Isvarcharanadasji, “When I go to devotee’s house, devotees cut some joke and are pleased. I always keep my sight on Murti. I follow the principle of Maharaj-according to it my work is to liberate jiva so I do as you say- I see that devotees are pleased. My resolution is Murti so I have come here. Wasting time in laughing and playing, you will become playful and it is a path of romance. If there is inner tendency for singing, playing music, singing devotional song, one will not see anything excepting Murti. Do not allow youth’s liking to interfere.” Then looking at the assembly Bapasri said, “Isvarcharanadasji has directly become old- do thus. Do not be playful.” Then Bapasri said, “Just as a wasp hums in the nosegay of Maharaj’s turban, similarly, muktas take fragrance of Murti. Premanand Swami has written, ‘tora paghman re te par madhukar kare gunjar’ (Nosegays are in the turban- wasps hum over them). Fragrance other than Murti is the activity. We should stick to the cause. Take the fragrance of cause i.e. Murti.” Swami Vrndavandasji asked, “Will causal Murti be pleased with the activity?” Bapasri replied, “We should know the cause and should not care for activity” ‘tame chho karan na karan jivan janun chhun’ (You are cause of the cause- I know Maharaj). Then Bapasri said to Swami, “See! We all sat in steamer from Mandavi to go to Karachi we saw the shore only when we reached there Karachi- whereas others see here and there. When Mahanubhavanand Swami, Loknathanand Swami came after taking bath from the farm, Bapasri asked them where they took the bath. They replied that they forgot where they took the bath- thus it is the principle of muktas. The two things which are worth keeping are Maharaj and muktas. Swami Bhaktipriyadasji used to say that if we do not know anything then we should know that Bava is sitting inside. Which is that Bava? Maharaj Himself. In my region, a king is called Bava but we should know that the infinite kings’ king sits inside us. We should not leave that God and should not allow our mind to be tempted elsewhere. Sriji Maharaj says that He likes wood, mountain and forest. The luxury of other world is not liked. If that luxury is seen, know that it is for the purpose of show. But jiva is fascinated so thought does not remain. The feudal king of village Sanand showed us his luxury. I told him what is there to see in it. What have I to do with horses, chariots and palanquins? It seems thus! Jiva of the world does not understand such talk. Is there any happiness in kingdom and reputation? Maharaj says that He cannot have cordial relations with persons of repute because they are proud of their kingdom and wealth and we are proud of worship (devotion), so if anyone says to compromise, it is not possible.” Then Bapasri talked about his visit to the court of Limbadi. He said, “The administrator of the king was wise and courteous and hospitable. I and saints were fed, and were taken to his bunglow. In his room he had kept big pictures. He was wise so he requested saints to be pleased on him so saints were pleased and I was also pleased. His prince was suffering from giddiness so I and saints blessed that Maharaj will make him all right. So, he was very much pleased.”

Swamisri asked Bapasri, “What kind of achievement will the administrator Zaverbhai get since he has pleased you very much?” Bapasri said, “I have to lead him to Aksardham directly. We should not make any other sankalpa and should not speak unnecessarily. My principle is to put jiva even if it is wretched in Murti. Even then, jiva surrenders to wealth and womlan so what can be done. In Aksardham, there are only Maharaj and muktas. In other abodes, there may be something but it is not beneficial.” Then Sanwaldasbhai raised a question, “In our scriptures it is written that if a saint meets first, the greatness is understood through saint and if God meets it is understood through Him but in the case of Anadi everything is together- what about it?” Bapasri said, “They are always together and they do not remain separate. If a householder sows millet, millet will grow- it is all millet. Similarly, Maharaj and Anadi muktas are together. But jiva does not recognise Anadi. He may be Purani, Sastri, even then he calls jiva, Isvar, maya, etc. as Anadi. When there is reference of Anadi muktas he would say it is a new path. If five categories are called Anadis he will be pleased but if muktas are called Anadi he will hesitate- do not do thus. Then Swami Dharmakisordasji was told to study such thing. Then looking at Lalubhai and Sanwaldasbhai, Bapasri said it seems that some known have come. Swami Vrndavandasji said, “Bapa! They have trust. They know how to please muktas and Maharaj.” Then Bapasri said, “Saints came for darsan at my place, some knew their greatness and some said something but those saints said that it was very good opportunity. Thus, there are various kinds of devotees having different understanding according to their progress in satsang. All take benefit according to one’s ability. He may be junior in satsang but he knew to take happiness whereas he may be senior in satsang but does not know how to take happiness- everything depends on understanding. ‘pande chhoto re mota mengalne mare’ (though an insect may be tiny, it can kill an elephant). Saying so Bapasri garlanded Purani Swami and added that it is cause to take it, there is cause in it. Bapasri told him to go in the assembly and start katha. About himself, Bapasri said he was coming soon. || 91 ||
