On the morning of Fagan Vad 9th, the 40th Vachanamrut of the First Chapter of Gadhada was being read in the assembly. In it there was the discussion of form of devotion in the second question. Then Bapashri said, “The listening devotion in navdha devotion (nine kind of devotion) is the best of all because we can understand what is to be done through listening devotion. Love oriented devotion is better than that of listening devotion because in it there remains constant memory of Murti and experienced knowledge is better than love-oriented devotion because through it one can achieve ultimate liberation. The ultimate liberated should be known as experienced one. That experienced doer, non doer and in the state of resigned (upsham state), one is unattached. Anadi Muktas are independent and they are better than the experienced one’s and are very powerful. Just as Shriji Maharaj is powerful, His Anadi Muktas are as powerful as Shriji Maharaj. Those who have become happy on account of Anadi Muktas, they are separated from them in this world i.e. when Muktas become invisible should feel sorrowful. If they do not feel sorrowful they should be considered as faithless (perfidious) and should be considered in the cadre of Raghunathdas.

Swami Ishwarcharandasji asked, “When Muktas are taken to the crematorium ground they are taken there with celebration. What is the reason of it?” Bapashri replied, “One should not express grief on them like the people of the material world but they should be grieved in heart. Just as physical Jiva grieves for the bodily relationship, they should not be grieved in the same way. The Jivas relationship should be grieved because if it is grieved knowing that the life support has gone, Shriji Maharaj will be pleased and will help in devotion, remembrance and such other means but if it is not grieved and one becomes pleased, Maharaj will be displeased. Just as when the temple is burning, somebody becomes pleased, God in the temple will be displeased. Therefore, should express grief, but should not be pleased.”

Swami Vrundavandasji asked, “When Muktas wish to go to Akshardham and if one makes them sad by creating trouble, they go to Akshardham with that sadness- whether the person making them sad will be sinned or not?” Bapashri replied, “Muktas do not wish to live in this world but the liberation of infinite souls will be stopped, the sin of it (stopping of liberation) will be too much.” At that time Bapashri had fever and vomitted, and then Premjibhai of Narayanpur said, “Transfer this illness to someone else and please continue your talk comfortably.” Bapashri said, “Who is the taker?” Then that fellow said, “Send it to me.” Bapashri said, “You will not be able to bare it.” Then he said, “Let anything may happen but send it.” Bapashri said, “Alright.” Soon Premjibhai suffered from fever and started vomiting. Then he was sent home in bullock cart and fever of Bapashri receded. || 73 ||
